I ordered the same, just waiting for delivery.I plan to purchase a set of NEEWER ND Filters (Clip On) for my NEO 2. Any member feedback / comments? Secure? Issues ? I have a similar design/ set for my NEO (K/F Concepts)…works fine !
Thank you for the feedback. Yes -- it is so COLD outside (single digit) in NYC (LOL)... I did a few "indoor" sorties in an empty basketball gym. Darn "Clip" didn't fall offManaged to warm up enough for me to get an outside flight. The clip on ND filters work well, and feel very securely attached.
Pic is at 390 feet, looking north at my small hometown.
Neo 2. And no, I didn't have any issues. Launched from my hand out the back door then stood inside and flew with the RC-2In that pic, what drone was that? and did you have any problem with the downward facing sensors over the all white ground?
Honestly - I think it's end-user / operator error (me) when it comes to the correct / exact placement of the clip / prongs. In my photograph -- I initially positioned the clip / prongs on the RED Line. I later repositioned the clip / prongs further back (GREEN Line). I ran a few tests and the video looks normalBoy, If those nd filters are that much trouble ,I think I'll go without and send them back. Let's wait and see what other Neo 2 owners are saying about those filters. Anyone else using these filters? Please let us know your experiences.
I would never try to attach anything to the gimble while it was powered on. Why risk damaging the tiny motors in the gimble.Honestly - I think it's end-user / operator error (me) when it comes to the correct / exact placement of the clip / prongs. In my photograph -- I initially positioned the clip / prongs on the RED Line. I later repositioned the clip / prongs further back (GREEN Line). I ran a few tests and the video looks normal. I am still testing. I plan to run a mini design of experiment (DOM) with the clip / prongs re-posited to the RED Line to re-create the video flaw (shakes / wobbles). Stay tuned
. On a side note, the instruction sheet from NEEWER is very vague in some respects. If you troll around YouTube or Google AI -- it is still unclear whether you turn on the NEO 2 with the ND FILTER already installed or attach the ND FILTER after the initial Power ON mode. For me -- I keep the ND Filter on...and Power ON the NEO 2 on a flat level / stable surface before picking it up... Taking the ND Filter ON and OFF would be a major P in the A !
