When I bought the Mini 4 - I was disappointed that it does not allow it do a flypast in Spotlight mode.
In other words as the drone approaches within 2m of the subject regardless how high the drone is - it just stops.
The Inspire 2 and Mavis 2 allow it to fly over the subject.
But DJI in its wisdom disabled that in the Mini 4.

My question - has anyone tried this flypast AND Spotlight or Active Track with the NEO?

Thanks in Advance.

J

Yes, thank you for confirming that it’s typical of Dji to dumb down the software and succumb to the nanny state.
And the problem is no one ever says anything about it which is why they don’t change.
Oh well that’s good. I can just stay with the Inspire and Mavic.
Really appreciate your test and reply so quickly.

Yes, I tried that with the Mini but it’s too hard for me to control and focus The other beauty of Mavic and inspire 2 is that they can use Litchi and have even more precision.

The question is quite hard for me to understand as there is no "Mini 4"

There is a "Mini 4k" which only has bottom sensors,
and there is also a "Mini 4 Pro" which has 360 OA.

But no "Mini 4"
