Well for S&G I looked at DJI's site and it looks like they dont offer any warranty or Care Refresh on any of the smaller drones. The first I saw that offered the Care stuff was the Mavic 3 Cine then Matrice 4.
At $209 for just the drone I will probably just buy another one if something happens to the package I buy???There is no basic warranty on any purchase outside of the USA into the USA from DJI PLUS they aren't offering Care Refresh on any product to the USA any longer no matter where purchased was the message I got from them.
$159 black Friday deal at Amazon. At $209 for just the drone I will probably just buy another one if something happens to the package I buy???
Thats with Amazon Prime isnt it?$159 black Friday deal at Amazon.
I'm considering it.
State Farm will pay out the value of the drone you claimed using the bill of sale.I would think a third party insurance policy would not be worth it. They can't fix or replace it.
Only offer devalued settlement on claim.
When I inquired with AMEX, they told me (can't verify) that they "extend" the manufacturers warranty so if there is no manufacturer's warranty, there's nothing to extend. IOW, they just don't provide warranties for anything and everything you buy. Do they know the DJI has no warranty? Probably not. There is no basic warranty on any purchase outside of the USA into the USA from DJI PLUS they aren't offering Care Refresh on any product to the USA any longer no matter where purchased was the message I got from them. My mistake was using PAYPAL 6 months no interest so now I can't even get AMEX extended warranty. Never thought of that when I ordered. I can get an eBay (Allstate) warranty but not sure what value that will provide.
I think prime is just for shipping.Thats with Amazon Prime isnt it?
Good luck finding a NEO 2 for $199 anywhere. Let me know if you do and I'll buy a spare. At $209 for just the drone I will probably just buy another one if something happens to the package I buy???

With no depreciation?State Farm will pay out the value of the drone you claimed using the bill of sale.

It's about $70 to $90 a year per drone and it's a standalone St. Farm policy. Should have nothing to do with your other non-St Farm policies but I can only tell you when I had the St Farm drone policy, I had nothing else with them. However, anytime you make any type of insurance claim, it goes on your record so you never know how it affects everything else. I heard a lot to flyers who made claims say they had no impact and I haven't heard a single pilot admit it impacted them adversely when they made their claim. You never know these days.....And what do they charge for that?
If it is attached to homeowners policy as a scheduled item I would never take it because even with a $200 claim it will jack up your H.O. more than that as it goes on your insurance "credit" rating (AKA insurance score). You can get a copy of your rating from lexisnexis.
Yeah, that's all they want is the receipt which you gave them when you opened the policy on day 1. It's really simple and straightforward but once you make the one claim, you'll probably get cancelled afterwards. With no depreciation?

That would be great if true, would love to get a warranty on the next time I buy....the Mavic 5 Pro, I would be willing to use the Amex for that. Hopefully, we've resolved this DJI issue by then and we're back to business.Actually, their "fine print" used to say if there i no warranty (gray market) you get 1 year. Must be new item. Having checked in ages though.
