Neo 2?

Not to hijack but, batteries, nd filters and propellers for the SkyRover X1 are now available at Amazon. Prices aren't bad.
No hype.

We can only hope.
TBH I stopped watching these videos weeks ago.
Seen one seen them all.

Same with DJI ban daily scare vids.
Youtube trolls should be banned.
Ok. All trolls then.

Here's the actual package breakdown from the Hong Kong site. Convert to whatever currency you like. I checked with the Canadian prices for similar packages for the current NEO and the prices are just slightly higher which will be good news if this is the case when released in the rest of the world in mid November.

Here's a comparison page of new and old. Can't access the actual 'Specs' link as it gives a 404 error, but there are reports that it is the same 1/2 inch sensor as on the original NEO. I'm hoping there is at least some improvement in image quality.

The firmware and Fly update has dropped for the RC2 and RC-N2 for the NEO 2.

IMHO, this looks great for the new user who has specific needs for the functions of this drone.
Flight without a controller or someone that just has to have the latest release.
They should of called it the Neo 3 to signify that its 3X the price of the Neo.
Without a package that has 2 or 3 batteries and the Rc-2 controller I see a hard NO for me.
The price is not even good as a entry level fpv like the Neo is.

The mini 5 pro and SkyRover x1 look to be a much better deal price wise.

The months of leaks got it mostly correct except the price and camera size.
How did they miss so badly on camera size.

All in all it looks great for a new purchase if you don't already have a Neo and need the follow and voice tricks.
Just not for me.

Unless I'm missing something I'm not seeing a price that is 3X more for the NEO 2 - maybe $40 to 50 more for most packages at least in Canada anyway based on HK pricing. We won't know for sure until it is officially released over here.

For me, I haven't quite decided whether or not I am going to upgrade. I do love my NEO and use it all the time, more than any of my other drones. I had been thinking of possibly trying the goggles N3 and motion controller so if I were to upgrade I would probably get the motion fly more combo since I already have both an N3 and RC 2 controller.

I'm kind of disappointed that the NEO 2 has the same 1/2 inch sensor. I will wait and see if there are any big improvements in photo/video quality and if there are any additional photo modes like pano, AEB bracketing added to give the camera a more professional quality. Also, has DJI finally allowed for camera settings like shutter speed and ISO to be adjusted when using the phone only control.

Looking forward to seeing what the detailed specs are, North American pricing, and user reviews are in the next few weeks.

Agreed we have to wait for more pricing, it's not going to be as high as the ripoff resellers or as low as HK but maybe somewhere in better. Still, for me, this is probably going to be a nice drone to wait and purpose next year when the price comes down even more. Imagine this drone going for NEO 1 -type fire sale prices next summer.

Yeah, I had to look back at what I bought and price.

My Neo with fly more package and the Rcn3 controller was $ 428.00
Following the above pricing would be $799.00.
So, Neo 2 for 2x the price makes sense.
Yes, it will be good to follow the results of real world use.
What's wrong and what is better.
I'm just glad all the speculation is done for this model.
Since it probably won't legally come to the US causing more issues think repair or warranty even.
It's probably all a moot point for awhile anyway.
Carry on, nothing to see here.
