Would you have paid a few dollars more to have a 3-axis camera gimble on your Neo? It appear the Flip has that. I would have paid up to $5.00 US more for that capability.

What would you have paid a little more for you Neo to have upgraded?

I think it'll cost more than five dollars for a 3 axis gimbal.

The gimbal is a precious item and the more axis applied, the more it costs in the software and replacement should it crash.

I've flown the SPARK (2 axis), the MA2 (3 axis), and now the NEO (1 axis) with on board software to stabilize the image.

All does a good enough job for me.

I'm not a photographer and enjoy all of my aircraft just for flying. 😊

Although, I'll be looking at the FLIP when released.

I think the cost to include a 3-axis gimbal would likely be much more than $5, plus you would need more space to fit the mechanism to hold it. I think DJI has addressed the 3-axis gimbal with the introduction of the Flip.

One of the reasons I purchased my NEO was because of its low cost value even with the limits it has which I can work around.

I agree with the above statements of the cost being more than $5. How did you come up with that calculation? Personally, I like the NEO just as it is. The cost is spot on, and it does a great job. I have to say its the only drone in my fleet I fly to have just fun with

I agree, the Neo is a ton of fun. I think people get caught up so much in specs that they forget at the end of the day it should be about having fun.

Best specs ≠ fun

When I bought my first drone (quite a few years ago) I did so for Residential Real Estate work. I did have fun with it but as time went on, the fun disappeared, and flying was just "work". The NEO is used 'only' for fun and has brought back that enjoyment of flying just for the fun of it.
