Who are you ordering yours from?

Heard rumblings that some U.S. orders through DJI are starting to ship.

I ordered mine straight from DJI couple days after it was announced… I am from Alaska.

Got email tonight that a shipping label and tracking number was created, and it shows up on fedex…

Wooo hooo… the wait is nearing the end.

Seattle here, ordered mine from DJI on release day, Oct 6th shipping is still the message I'm getting.
I also ordered from Amazon with an Oct 8th delivery date. One will be a gift. The last one to arrive, will be the gift of course.

Ordered mine on Amazon as I had some vouchers to use. Arrived within 12 hours!
Note that you can't order the DJI Care Refresh via Amazon, but you can still do this through the DJI website when you first register the drone (as long as it is done within the first 48 hours).

I’d actually be surprised if Combo units ship tomorrow from authorized retailers in the U.S. A lot of retailers are showing as unavailable for pre-order vs. the Neo itself. I did hear rumblings of a battery storage internationally, so that may be playing a role.

DJI really dropped the ball on the U.S. release. Going into the holiday season, I feel like it’s going to be the one items people are paying x2-x4 the MSRP just to get their hands on one.

Amazon, as of this morning, had the Neo available, but not the combo pack that is being offered in the U.S.

Ended up picking up one since I had plans to use it for some fall hiking this upcoming weekend. Ordered two extra batteries and charger hub from DJI, so essentially, I’m getting the combo. I’m going to gift my Neo combo pre-order, whenever it arrives, to a family member for the holidays.

Checked my Amazon order status... Oh my... Skipping Prozac megadose this morning... 🤣🤣🤣

There are many places I would feel more comfortable using this very lite drone. Let us know what you think.

I did some flying today and wished I had a neo with me. Having the propeller guards would have been comforting for what I was doing.

I bought all my drones from amazon, but when I go for goggles3 and rc3, I will buy direct from dji, they are just as fast delivery and cost no more that anywhere else.

Edit: turns out they were more expensive, and shipping will take 2 weeks. So more fool me.

Probably use Amazon again next time.

New to the DJI "ecosystem". First DJI quad was the Avata2. Only 3 orders placed and all at store.dji.com. All except the pre-ordered Neo Fly More combo kit were shipped within 24hrs of placing the order and received within 2-4 days. Even the Neo kit arrived earlier than the original estimated date at time of purchase.

Personally I would avoid any online or real store that is not listed by DJI as an authorized seller. Unsure if Amazon is. Living in a very rural area (+50 mile round trip to WMart) internet stores have made life easier and less expensive. Order routinely from Amz. Over the past couple years have been receiving a few "fake" items from Amazon. Items "Sold and shipped by Amazon".

Pyro ships when you hit the pay button....fastest shipping I have ever seen. If you live in So. Cal your stuff arrives the next day with the standard shipping I never tried to pay for next Day. They would probably drive it to my house that Day if I did....LOL

Might be wrong. West coast DJI warehouse located in CA? If so, you have the benefit of proximity. Even couple thousand miles away delivery for in stock items seems fast. IIRC, the Avata2 kit and the FPV RC3 origin shipping location was CA. Don't remember shipping service. UPS or USPS overnight delivery. Only took a couple days to arrive at the house.
