What the FLIP? (off topic news from DJI )

The new or replacement of the Mini Pro 5? Will be interesting if it is equipped with LIDAR.

I've already decided, I'll keep my NEO and I'm not excited about DJI's new products (remember: I also have a Mavic Mini, Mini 2, AIR 2S) but that's enough for me, I like the NEO for its portability and ease of use, but I won't buy any other, my garage is already full.

Me too! I have everything I need right now and don’t intend on buying a new drone anytime soon - Flip or Mavic 4.

Would be a step backwards form the Mini 4 pro. No obstacle avoidance sensors to the sides and rear. And actually the front shield is only shown in its function as a mode display, not as a lidar sensor.

Seems like DJI is marketing the FLIP as a lower price point sub 250gm and compact cine drone relative to the MiniPro4. When asking a friend who flies a MiniPro4 he noted it has no appeal for his needs. Moving bigger to the Air3s or MavicPro would be his choice. FLIP marketing goals might be similar to the Neo. For those few where the Neo was their first drone and are interested in tracking towards image capture vs. immersive flying it would be a reasonably priced option. Or for those who just want to try image capture and feel the need for a higher level product. Not an unreasonable price point if the internet gossip is correct regarding specs and price.
