Turn on and turn off RC-N3

What is the correct order to turn on and turn off using the RC-N3?
1)- NEO+RC+DJI Fly
2)- RC+DJI Fly+NEO
And turn off?
A)- NEO+RC+DJI Fly
B)- RC+DJI Fly + NEO

As mentioned above, it doesn't mater so much nowadays.

Although, I've read that old school R/C pilots would power up the transmitter first and then the aircraft to help prevent the possibility of somebody's else's remote connecting to your aircraft if it's turned on first.

This is just my personal preference, but I turn on the controller first, then the aircraft

Yes, I confess that I'm too lazy to read the NEO user manual, but today I forced myself to read it, I saw this on page 45 of the manual in Brazilian Portuguese, items 2,3,4 and I think it answered my question.

2. Place the aircraft in an open, flat area with the rear of the aircraft facing you.
3. Turn on the remote controller and the aircraft.
4. Launch D|Fly and enter the camera view

It was / sometimes still is important on classic R/C models yes, but the tech in DJI drones is completely different and it doesn't matter there.

For DJI it doesn't matter. I also fly non-DJI UASs. Out of habit. Power up Goggle3 the actual tx for the Neo and Avata2, then FPV RC3, then the quad.

Anyone have any issues with their Neo power up button. My original Neo now lacks a distinct "click" feel. Need to eyeball the LEDs to make sure I've pressed the button sufficiently to run through the start up sequence. Wondering if the switch is a contact type of switch. My old Spektrum roller click contact switch eventually wore out. Lot of roll, click, roll, click sequences. Inexpensive easy to source switch that required minimal effort to replace if you know how to solder. Wonder if the switch on the Neo goes...

Those switches worry me.
It would be interesting to know how involved it would be to replace it and with what.

Wish DJI would have designed the Neo battery system similar to the Avata2. Power on/off button built into the battery. Maybe an "improvement" feature on the Neo2?

Based on the MadsTech and iFixit YT tear down video it looks to be possible. Neo looks to be a more user friendly repairable drone than the Avata2.
