Me and my friend are dji bros, he has the flip but getting the neo 2 i have a mini 3. He told me, about the specs. I NEED THE 360 APAS(obstacle avoidance) and my mini 3 is in return date

I presume you have received it, yes? My only comment would be that for those using these drones for object tracking, I guess the APAS is useful, but I almost never use it on any drone because it disrupts footage by getting "startled" by nearby objects. Also I have found that the Neo and Neo2 are just not powerful enough to withstand much wind at all. I still fly them often on calm days, especially indoors or low to the ground, but I'm thinking that Mini 3 might be better for cinematic shots in general. I guess it comes down to your use case.

One more thing: if you ever are interested in FPV flying, the Neo and Neo2 are pretty fun under calm conditions. You can't do that with the Mini 3.

@WilliamDaugherty, judging by your posts here and on mavicpilots, media capture, often in professional missions, is a great deal of your focus, which influences your bias.

For those of us largely doing this purely for fun, the particulars of media capture – cinematic capability, quality, etc. – are secondary. So the benefits of ruggedness and enabling the "fun" of the drone are more important.

The portion of my time spent flying the Neo 2 (and Avata 2) where I actually captured the camera output during flight is small. Further, I don't think I've ever taken a still with either one.

Different strokes...

I have no idea what the OP's use case is, other than his declaration that "I NEED THE 360 APAS(obstacle avoidance)" which only makes sense for selfie footage, right? Beyond that, I think everything I said was objectively true. And the OP said nothing of ruggedness or fun-to-fly as decision factors, so I really have no way to know whether my experience, or yours as a purely recreational flyer, would be valuable to the OP.

Now, as for my bias: I love to fly drones. Any drone. Every drone. From the Inspire to a $10 Walmart bin TinyWhoop. I am also a commercial pilot and I make money with drones every day. I'm also a filmmaker and photographer. That doesn't mean my experience is only valuable to one class of drone pilot, nor does it mean that I know what's the best choice for the OP. It simply means I have flown a lot of drones and I pay attention to the experience. If that yields useful information for someone else, I'm delighted. If not, that's OK too.
