RTH is a little bit useless

Don't forget, if the aircraft is within 50ft horizontally (see the manual for the precise limit) of the HP when RTH is initiated, it will simply descend and land. It will not move laterally to get closer.

This is normal RTH behavior for all DJI drones.

I rarely, if ever, use RTH with any of my drones. I prefer to bring them back and land them manually. The NEO doesn't have precise landing and 14' is somewhat reasonable.

Yeah i know that, which is why the qaud was taken out to about 100ft away, but to save you having to sit through that bit of the video i edited it out, why has no one mentioned the issue about the HP distance climbing to nearly 7ft when its stationary?

I'm a hi-bred RTH user. I use the RTH to bring the drone back close, then take over to land it myself. This is my usual method for all my drones, unless the drone happens to be close to begin with in which case landing is all me.

Same. I only use RTH to re-establish connection if somehow it gets dropped. I read the NEO User Manual and there is barely a mention of RTH, so I assumed the NEO didn't have it. It's literally in two places.
