Many of us have been frustrated by the weak pinhole camera on the Neo used for VPS, critical for holding position as well as controlled flight when relatively close to the ground. The Neo can become uncontrollable in low-light situations indoors, even during the day, and outside at dusk or other dim/dark situations.

I and others have experimented with various stick-on lights on the bottom of the Neo to help illuminate the area under the Neo with limited success. Until this accessory from STARTRC, I had frustrating results flying just off the floor around my house (which is fun!), or outdoors at night.

This accessory is the solution! It worlks great, is very bright and illuminates a sizable area under the drone,, completely resolving the problem when within 8 feet of the ground/floor. This is more than sufficient for almost all indoor environments, and outdoors GPS will take over for positioning when VPS can't do it's job. I've found the drone to be very stable and controllable in all situations with this accessory, and am very happy with it.

The light array snaps on the bottom over the battery, is rechargable, and contains a U-shaped array of 18 very bright white LEDs. If you want to fly your Neo indoors, at dusk, or other low-light conditions, this is the add-on accessory for you! U$20 from Amazon.

So far I haven't found anything better than that.
If a few of those leds were aimed forward a little it might be perfect.
But it does vastly improve dim lighting flight especially indoors.

I use the same bottom light.
I have the Firehouse Technology Tatical Light Kit that also adds a top light to look forward.
I flew in my townhouse with all lights out and this worked great, never lost the ground and even did three flights of stairs.
