Hi gang, long time no see! Those of you that know, I'm recovering spectacularly from a triple bypass last march... I feel 20 years younger, now doing 50 minutes 5x a week hard cardio (treadmill + recumbent bike) in the gym, and have a new life. Couldn't be more happy and positive.
However, that's not why I'm writing this! I'm headed to Hawaii for a week at the end of the month, want to do some drone flying and photography, and agonized what to take from my extensive squadron of drones. I'd like to do some FPV, but also get some really high quality photos of my buddy surfing Waikiki, as well as sunsets and other scenic shots. How to do this without being burdened down with multiple cases in addition to my regular luggage?
The solution was this LEKUFEE Neo case which is just perfect for carrying everything I need to FPV with the Neo, as well as control my Mini 4 Pro with the RC2 {and FPV if I desire). Yes, I'd rather be taking my Avata 2 for the FPV, but the Neo does well enough to have fun with FPV using the MC3 and Goggles 3, and the video is good enough for me for memories and social media. I'll put the very compact Mini 4P folded up in my luggage, and I've got a quite versatile setup with just one additional piece of luggage I'll carry on the plane.
The case has two levels, holds goggles 3, Motion Controller 3, RC2, Neo, 6 batteries (one in Neo), 3 battery charging hub, and plenty of other space for accessories, props, etc. The RC2 can be stored with the sticks installed, and the soft foam in the top does a good job of holding my Neo filters positioned over one of the accessory compartments.
Love this case, looking forward to traveling with it. The RC compartment comes with an insert that fits the RC-N2 if that's what you have instead. Now for the pictures:
