Even with the proper cable my Neo won’t Quick transfer to my iPhone. It just sits on Idle.

I think the QT works via wi-fi / Bluetooth between drone and device.

A wire is used between the device and a computer to transfer content.

I don't have an iPhone but here is a video using the cable that may help.

.

Not sure if this will solve your problem but it's worth a shot.

I’ve tried this numerous times and run a battery down without transfer one 20 sec video. It simply isn’t working, even though it should.

Edit

you have to choose "FILES" tab on the iphone, then it shows the Locations then internal storage, I was going into Photos, well thats logical i guess lol

I have a samsung phone which shows a drive but no files, i tried an Ipad 6 and this shows a drive in photos but no files, im not sure about the video above as I cant find anything called "Locations" in the menu

i reached out to DJI support and they told me that the Neo isnt OTG compatible and wont allow direct transfer to a device (unlike the DJI Osmo action 3)

The only way i can find is to use the Export function in the fly app which means having a phone tablet with you out in the field, if someone has a video with a step by step for ios and android i would be interested in seeing it

Just heard back from DJI Tech. They recommended I turn OFF VPN and Cellular Data. That fixed it. All videos downloaded w/o a hitch.

Eureka! It was the VPN... cell data shouldn't be a player, as long as your wifi is enabled.

Give that a try next time – leave your cell connection on, just disable the VPN.

I use an ad blocker on my Android phone that works by passing all traffic through a local on-phone VPN that allows AdGuard to filter everything. I had to exclude DJI Fly from filtering to get the phone to connect to the neo at all.

Thank you for that input. I’ll try that next time.
