N3 goggles in stock

I have this feeling that in the not-too-distant future an Avata 2 will be in my stable......max speed for the NEO (in manual mode) is 35mph - max speed for the Avata 2 is 60mph (in manual mode)....
It all depends on how many times I crash my Neo
I get my Avata 2 and N3 goggles Monday hopefully.

Just received delivery of the Avata 2. Where's my glasses, lol!

My goggles showed up today too, but now it's dark outside.

I don't have a suitable USB-C cable to use so it's off to Best Buy this evening. 😕

Here in Canada, the goggles are not yet available other than in the combo pack.

Chris

I just received my N3 goggles about 5 mins ago. I got it from DronePoint and DHL Delivered it. The Avata 2 arrived this afternoon also from DronePoint. Very strange 2 deliveries at different times from the same company. Now the n3 is only in a combo pack.

Canada Combo Pack, the N3 and MC3 or Neo, N3, MC3? Combo packs are nice option if needing the kit, but stinks if you don't. Glad they offer the Fly More kit in the USA without the controller. Sounds like in the EU those people could not initially or still cannot just purchase the USA packaged Fly More Kit.

store.dji.com USA store has the N3 still listed as a standalone, but don't think it is available anymore. Wonder if just demand has exceeded production or if in the USA a delay at Customs or DJI knows something more than we do regarding future import issues to the USA?

Interesting segment on the Pilot Institute weekly news round up Ytube channel. Leadership of the USA House and Senate have come together and are or will be introducing a ban made in China drones. Time to PANIC and order more another Neo Fly More kit. But if the FCC puts clamps on DJI preventing flying legally even existing DJI platforms? Import ban or increased tariffs would be bad enough. Specific DJI FCC ban would be a major bummer. Think Huawei and probably eventually TicTock. Time will tell. TicTock, TicTock:).

@RcHawks have you FPV'd the neo yet, or are you looking at both neo and avata 2 virgins?
Probably not until tomorrow. Had to put my hobby stuff on the back burner for today. But really looking forward to testing it out for myself. I'm going to start with the neo first for sure. I kind of swamped with all the new gadgets I've purchased. It seems so strange to spend money now that I'm retired. We've always been in a save mode, tough habit to break.

It's amazing the quality of the product, right down to the boxes and packing material. Everything fits perfect and it shows in everything they make. I would think there's not too many companies in the world that can match this kind of quality for the price, in my humble opinion.

N3 might be the best value for a digital goggle. Plus unlike Walksnail slightly lower priced release you can wear glasses vs. having to purchase the optional prescription correcting lens.

Neo alone has confirmed my choice of DJI digital over walksnail. Now the N3 as an option to the Goggles 3 if I trash them.

JMHO, DJI as a company from the original DJI helicopter to today has been an innovative company delivering quality products. My only issue over the years are the very closed "ecosystem" and difficult diy repair. Now all the digital systems are basically closed systems. Neo is reasonably priced that crash and trash is not too much of an issue.

I sure hope our (USA) Congress focus on more pressing issues than "made in China" recreational drones. Like wake up congress. Hint: Salt Typhoon or maybe it's the Typhoon Salt. The supposed Chinese govt. hacks into our telecommunication infrastructure. Our deficit. Our healthcare system and costs. Future insolvency of Medicare and Social Security Retirement ...... endless list.

There are actual substantive National Security issues with China that demand attention, this drone thing being a bit of geopolitical performance art.
