N3 goggles in stock

Shipped from the California warehouse? Maybe no N3 in stock. Direct shipment from China. Rest of the world seems to have stock or have been recently restocked. Customs delay?

"Jokingly" told a friend who is upgrading to a Mavic 3 PRO that he should order it before the Jan 20th additional 10% tariff. He noted he doesn't need it until April. I noted it might not be delivered until then if coming from China due to the Customs delays.

RC 3 delivered, now for the wait......still waiting........waiting some more....
At least you have plenty of time to set up the sticks for FPV RC3 for manual mode options. But you still need the N3 to fully setup the controller for manual mode option. Sure hope everyone receives shipment by the rumored early December delivery dates.

Looking forward to opinions. I need +1.5 readers in the analog box goggles used. Wondering those of you who wear reader will find the need for them using the N3s. Thinking of getting a pair of prescription astigmatism correcting glasses primarily for astronomy use. But would add reader correction if needed in N3s. One nice feature the Goggles 3 have are the option for replacing the stock diopter correcting lens with custom prescription lens. On the other hand. N3s allow for wearing your everyday prescription glasses. Walksnail totally missed the obvious in their digital box goggle N3 competitor.

Thanks for posting Gozar.

I'll be visiting DJI soon to place my order. 👍

.

Received a phone call today from California (Thanksgiving day US) from DJI Service letting me know the goggles are in stock at the warehouse and will be shipping soon.

They should arrive before 15-DEC-2024. :):)

I have been practicing with my Tello in case I decide to get the goggles when they are available here. Flew the Tello around the house with box goggles trying to fly through tight spaces. Crashed lots but had fun.

There are manufacturing or shipping delays? On my N3 Goggles order, the warehouse was supposed to ship on 11/24. Here we are on 12/1 and hasn't shipped yet. Just FYI...

Maybe US Customs delays? Have been considering a 2nd Neo Fly More kit. Mainly for the batteries and 2nd charging hub. Normally 3 batteries per session are fine, but flying Manual mode hard cuts down on flight times. Also, now with colder weather the sessions will be shorten by cold batteries. Concerned if shipped directly from China like the 1st kit was it might not arrive until who knows when. Assuming DJI's CA warehouse is well stocked with batteries. Of course as soon as I have the spare batteries I will probably crash trash the Neo and need to replace it. FLY More kit is my proactive prevention from that happening. Rather have a spare Neo gathering cobwebs vs. no Neo to fly.

I chatted with DJI yesterday to see if my goggles were on track to ship on 12/1, order originally said 11/23, they said I would get an email with tracking within 2 days.
Hoping i get that tomorrow...

Addiction. At least crashing is physically not painful. Unlike my other "addictions" that have sent me multiple times to the ERs on 3 different continents.

I'm assuming we're talking other recreational pursuits that involve some risk of injury... I've had a visit or two to the ER for the same reason.

My wife praises all Gods I'm too fat to hang-glide any more. I've been highly suspicious it's been her deliberate doing. She's an amazing cook, among many other blessings. 😁

Use to race road and mtn bikes. Crashing is part of racing. Sometimes ended up visiting the ER.
Retired from racing and started focusing on recreational high wind windsurfing. When things go bad it can happen fast and be brutal. Add reefs and sea creatures to the mix. At least only one ambulance ride to the ER and that was not the incident with the sea creature.
Family was happy when I had to give up bike racing. Then they realized I lacked common sense when on the water. Like checking tide charts or losing track of time when wave sailing. Or blowing a jump and instead of bailing trying to save it.

Got my tracking numbers today, it shows delivery on Dec 10th.
It may have helped that I chatted with support daily...

Looks like mine got shipped as well. No ETA yet.

I have this feeling that in the not-too-distant future an Avata 2 will be in my stable......max speed for the NEO (in manual mode) is 35mph - max speed for the Avata 2 is 60mph (in manual mode)....
It all depends on how many times I crash my Neo

Need for perceived speed v. actual speed. Fly in the Red zone (sub ?0.5meter). Only issue is not much altitude for any bad moments. The good is your angle of impact with the ground is less. At that altitude I limit myself to S mode flying the Avata2. Probably should also with the Neo. Neo manual mode at low altitude has resulted in couple unpleasant crashes. The Neo does skid well on short grass. Actually consider remounting the top guards just incase the next skidded "landing" ends up flipping the quad. Just added a UV filter to provide some lens protection. The Neo if at altitude and even the Avata2 feels relatively slow. It's all a mater of perspective.

Mine arrived today, should say this evening, now it is too dark outside to fly. I did get everything paired and updated to latest firmware. It’s going to be pretty cold tomorrow low 27 high of 39 but I will go fly anyways. The screen inside looks sharp and clear and it fits over my glasses well. This is going to be great.
