Quick view of the video. Unlike the Avata2 a drone that doesn't look to difficult to tear down and maybe replace worn or broken components. Problem is the need to calibrate and find spare parts. Doubt if DJI will be stocking parts beyond propellers. Wish they would at least stock motors. Could be challenging snaking the wires to the board.
Years ago learned from a FliteTest build video that isopropyl alcohol breaks hot glue bonds. Looks like DJI uses hot glue to make sure connectors stay put. Use your ifixit or generic tools to slightly pry the edge of glue gob and just place a drop of isopropyl at the break. Gets sucked into the gap and slowly breaks the bond. Glue comes off usually a neat one chunk.
OT: does anyone know if the iFixit brand of micro tweezers are electrostatic free. Metal tips. I use a grounding mat and one of those wrist strap grounding things, but generic tweezers. If iFixit are truly electrostatic free. Will probably purchase a set. Eventually will crash trash the Neo. It might be my only source for spare Neo parts outside of eBay sellers.
