Out on a hike this week, took the Neo out to check out a formation off to the side of the area I was hiking in. It took off from my hand and the really large fly (some of these desert flys are huge) that had been annoying me for the last few hundred meters, decided to check out the Neo. It went next to the ducted rear prop and was instantly sucked in. It produced a ripping noise and a shower of finely cuisinated bug parts. It was hysterical. I landed it in my hand and the side of the Neo was covered in bug jam. Yuck, that will need cleaning. No damage to the prop. Put it back in my little re-purposed beltcase for my flash and went on my way. Took it out 30 minutes later and apparently the plastic the Neo is made from shed all the bug gore like a teflon cooking pan. Perfectly clean.

Note to self, keep it away from bee hives.
