The only issue is its been miserable as sin in the UK and not had a chance to actually use them, its nice to see they come with a guide for the goggles and M3 controller in the screen with a step by step guide on how to use them.

Can't wait until the weather gets better.

In the meantime heres a quick unbox video

You know the weather is laughing at you. Harder the longer you had to wait and more your expectations are for the new kit:). Today, at sunrise -17C and freezing air under a cold blue sky. Water vapor lifting off the surface has been freezing and coming down as scintillating specks. Batteries would not last long. I'm a wimp and need warmer conditions.

At least you have plenty of time to charge up everything. You will be impressed how many hours the MC3 goes between needing a charge. At first I though something was wrong with my unit. The MC3 and FPV RC3 consume so little mAh. Just enough watts to transmit you inputs to the goggles.

If you have a well lighted indoors area with avoidable deep shadows to fly into. Go for an indoors session. Good opportunity to get a feel for all the control buttons, trigger, dial, joystick. Especially the Brake/Pause button use for fast bail out of not to good situations. N mode for the Neo is real slow and once you get a feel for the MC3 it's a functional controller for slow, tight proximity flying.

RTH functions. Testing, manual initiating and manual abort requires being outdoors. Knowing which button and how to without really thinking is a good thing vs. not when needing it.

Fly it inside!! I fly mine FPV in doors all the time.

It's tough as nails, so if it goes rogue due to a total GPS/VPS failure, you bang into something, no damage (well, to the neo).

Keep it in N mode, don't floor it on the trigger. Keep moving, and VPS problems seem to be less. Turn on lights.

Have some fun!

Specs note microSD max of 512 GB. Assuming the N3 like the G3 have the option for auto recording the last 30 seconds before crashing or landing. Feature I like for helping locating a downed quad. Add the Find My Drone and ESC activation reduces search time when landing in less than ideal areas.

Personally I would go with the max size card of good quality. Less need for reformatting close to filled cards. Not an image capture person. Just occasionally using the Goggles3 playback some segments of the flight. Have been using Sandisk brand for decades in the digital photo hardware and quads without issues. Outside of one "fake" SanDisk card purchased from an Amazon seller. Kingston Canvas series in the Avata2 and the Goggle3. So far, no issue.

Thank you, I have a N3 and the hand unit on order from DJI, I only have 128 go micro cards I’ll need to order a 512gb.

Again Thank you

I have now been able to get out, 3 batteries on the NEO and not a sign of voltage drop on the goggles

I'll answer you and Droning on and on at the same time, our UK houses arent anywhere near as big as some of the houses in the states from what ive seen in some videos, I wouldnt yet dare try to fly indoors until ive really got a hang of it

See my reply above mate

Not strictly true, i have already used care refresh as it tried to rise up and RTH indoors after somehow locking a homepoint when the battery went low, which resulted in the need to replace it, since then im wary about flying indoor

Oh boy yes i did have some fun heres a short clip of my first time (used 2 batteries just getting used to it)
