Another thing i noticed when the bird looses connection to gps.
The controller is way more sensitive.
Eg, with the trigger pulled just a small way in to fly slow, gps is lost the suddenly the bird greatly accelerates without me moving controls. I needed to stop, and then very lightly manipulate controls so as not to have the drone speeding off and careening of walls.

I'm confident some of this will improve with use in the field resulting in tweaks and fixes through firmware updates.
Pure speculation, but I imagine shoving the DJI Flight Controller software into the tiny, 135g Neo is exposing some instabilities that simply aren't present in the heavier siblings.
