We have beautiful sunshine today but the day started off at -19C in the morning. Currently it’s -8C (around 17F) but the sun is nice and warm and it’s not too windy.
We are currently in a cold snap here. Although we still have tons of snow it is gradually disappearing through sublimation.
Temperatures have returned to more normal for this time of year and it looks like we will be having some mild temps in the next few days. Hopefully no flooding since we have tons of snow and if it melts quickly there will be problems.
I will try to post a few photos from my Neo to this thread.
Here's a two row 22 frame pano (cropped) done with my original Neo today out on the ice. It was a balmy 9ºC and sunny. Other than the people who were out ice fishing there were people (not pictured) out walking their dogs, snowmobiling and just enjoying the nice warm weather.
No, that is someone pulling their ice fishing gear. I am probably about 100m in front of that guy.
That picture actually shows a bay which is part of a large lake. Since there are lots of access points from the city many people just pull their fishing gear out in sleds including the portable fishing huts.
