Avata 360 leaks

Here’s what I’m seeing from the website in Canada. Not sure what other countries see.

The newest thing I see on the USA DJI website is the Mavic 3 PRO. :D

No mention of these fictitious aircraft like the NEO 2, Mavic 4 PRO, or Avata 360. ;)

Yeah, it’s hard to believe that it’s gotten to this. I really feel for all you US pilots. I’m not so sure I would be willing to take the risks and spend the premium $$$ some are to acquire the latest DJI drones especially the more expensive models. I consider myself fortunate that there is no DJI ban here in Canada.

Regardless I am interested in seeing what the Avata 360 has to offer since I like shooting 360 panos with my regular drones and this seems like it might make the process way easier. The answer will be soon.

I think most of us already have the supporting equipment so it looks like "Drone Only" for me since the batteries appears to be really inexpensive.
The latest puts the actual availability into April for the ROW: 5/09

Count me excited!

Looks like it will be more functional than I expected, incorporating features from the latest camera drones and the Neo 2 (as well as everything expected that's Avata-like). My Mini 5 Pro may start gathering dust, although the media will still be better from the M5P.

1/1.1" sensors... That was unexpected. Too bad they weren't able to cram just a tiny bit more in there and get to 1". Likely would have required a little bit bigger camera module. Bet they have prototypes in R&D, and it was just too marginal or some other issue.

Still, 1/1.1 (~0.91)" is damn good. Getting in the wayback machine, we thought 1/2.3 (0.43)" was pretty good in the Mavic Pro days. 4x the sensor area.

And 64MP, nice! Wonder if that's standard Bayer, or quad. My money's on quad, but it would be wonderful to be surprised otherwise. Highly unlikely because a simple 1" 64MP Bayer sensor (or whatever specs are close) is $$$$.
