Avata 360 leaks

This looks like something I might be interested in if it can be flown and be used like a regular drone. I take lots of photo spheres and if this simplifies the process then that is something I will definitely consider.

Simplify the process?!? I'd say so... a single capture!

And if you haven't got FPV gear yet (I think you were toying with it), get the Fly More Combo with the Goggles and you can use your Neo too!

Yeah, still toying with the FPV thing. I'm not sure I would have many opportunities to do FPV. Here in Canada the rules are pretty clear that you must have a visual observer when doing FPV and the Avata 360 looks to be over 250g. With the Neo I'm not sure if an observer is needed since the drone is well under 250g and no licence is needed to fly it. Most of the time I am by myself when I fly my drones so no chance to have an observer.

I understand your hesitation regarding the Observer rule.

I decided to ignore it most of the time because where I fly FPV, there is no tangible risk at all in not having one, and it's not a rule that I believe has ever, even once, been enforced in a typical recreational FPV situation.

I think it's one of the stupidest rules applied to FPV, created for good reasons for camera drones when out of VLOS like in professional uses inspecting bridges, buildings, etc., that sort of thing.

Weaving around trees where no one's around but you? The observer is useless, and adds no safety even if they have their eyes on the drone the whole time.

So, long way of saying it's the one rule I break with impunity, am ethically sound with it, and not worried I'm going to get in trouble.
