Why doesn´t RC-N1 work with Neo?

I opened the DJI fly app and open the connect aircraft you can see all the different DJI drones including Neo.
But when I connect the RC-N1 to my phone the only drones you can see is Mavic, Air and Mini.
So why isn’t Neo on the list any longer?
Is it because it’s an old controller…or?

The Neo drone uses the newer O4 transmission technology.
