I had been wanting a wearable microphone to get decent voice audio on my Neo videos. I didn't want a cheap one and do not have the budget for an expensive one. Today Amazon had a flash sale on the DeWalt wearable Bluetooth speaker which has a microphone. I got one and tested on a quick Neo video. Worked well enough for the price.

I bought the DJI Mic Mini and have had very good success using it with the Neo. You can get one for $59. How much was the DeWalt?

Yesterday it was on a Flash Sale for $46.73 (US). That is what I paid. I had Prime shipping so delivery was no cost. I did not pay extra for same day delivery but, they got it to me the same day anyway.
I am going to an open house on a farm tomorrow. I plan to do some video of the farm so, I am glad I got the microphone in time for that.

How can I connect a inexpensive lav mic and a rc-n3 to my galaxy phone to narrate the live video.
Non-professional results are ok.
Thanks.

Your phone is the key. Connect the lav mic to your phone and verify it is working. I don't know how you do that. If it is Bluetooth, add it as a Bluetooth device. If it is USB, plug it into the phones charging port. Note, I have read not all phones support that. If the lav mic is analog, plug it into the headphone jack of the phone. You may need an adapter to do that.

Anyway, if you get the mic connected to the phone and, the phone will record audio from it, the DJI Fly app on the phone gives you an option to record audio from the phone when you are recording video from the drone.

Thanks, I get all that.
I need to use the mic with the rc-n3 connected also. The phone appa doesn't have the distance the controller does.
I need to connect both.
Thanks for the reply though.

And the answer is: get a transmitting mic that does bluetooth to the target without separate receiver.

Dji mic mini on the way for tomorrow. No tariffs yet.
Of course. Lol

I use the adapter shown below. Plug it I to the USB jack in the front of the RC 2 controller. Pair a Bluetooth microphone with the adapter. When recording the controller screen, audio from the adapter is included in the controller screen video.

Awesome.
Another advantage of the Rc-2.
There are quite a few.
The Rc-n3 has that but it's only to charge.
Only advantage is price for it.
With Dji it seems you really do get what you pay for.
Very refreshing these days.
And rare. Lol
Cheers out,

Yep, the mic mini was the perfect solution for me. The sound quality fits for my needs too. Not a fan of Dji but getting there. Lol

At least I got it pre tariff.
Soon we will be forced to buy cheap, low quality American knockoffs!
🤠

Good choice on the Mic Mini. The Mic 2 also works pretty well for anyone else looking for mic options.
