Tried out the Neo with my VR Glasses

I use some VR glasses, the XREAL Air 2 Pro AR. I use them with the M3 Cine and the M3 Enterprise. They use USB-C video out. The RC-N2 & 3 do not allow that, but the RC 2 and the my iPhone 16 pro do support it. So there are two ways to use them, first if you use the iPhone to control the drone, it just plugs into the USB-C port, it mirrors the display. The Air 2 Pros have variable darkening on the lenses so you can see through them or choose to darken them to black so only the video shows. With the RC 2 it can either mirror the display or display without the information on the glasses. I find them useful on my other drones, just was curious if they worked with the Neo. Well they do. Now I would not rush out and get a pair just for the Neo, you can buy two Neos for what they cost. They also are super if you get stuck on airliners a lot. You can watch regular videos on them and kick back without straining to see some dinky screen on the tray table.

I did try the Dji Goggles, both the 2 and Integra, both were super uncomfortable on my face, I also found they reduced the range on my Cine.

I have found out that the Neo video image is laggy if controlled by a N2/3 or RC2. Maybe caused by the additional image stabilisation for emulating a 3-axis gimbal. If using Goggles 3 or N3 with the FPV-RC3, it is very responsive and you can steer it through the tightest obstacles.
I also have VR glasses, in my case the Rokid Max, but I am using it only with my Mini 4 Pro.

Also works nicely with the Quest 3's recent video capture device addition. Of course also too slow for real manual flight.
