The phone I am using for my RD-N3 is screwing up. Rather than spend money fixing or replacing that phone, I decided to switch to the RC 2 controller. I am on the road until early May but, I ordered the controller now in case the tariffs spike the price. Hoping the phone will hold out until I get back to my Fixed Base Operation location,

My MA2 is the only drone I still use with an external display. I got it out of the case yesterday after almost 3 months of sitting idle for a flight using my iPad mini 5. I really like the larger display, but it's so convenient and easier using my RC2 with my A3S even though it's a smaller screen, no iPad mount or cables to deal with.

What does the process of saving photos/videos off the drone, and getting them somwhere else (to a compputer, to your phone photo reel) look like whenyou've got an RC 2?

Back from my road trip and RC 2 was waiting for me. Got it updated and setup. Did a quick flight. It is so much nicer that the RC-N3+phone combo. Wish I had started with this setup in the first place.

Yes, it is nice, I use one with my Air 3s as well, but the N3 combined with a 12.9" iPad is very cool, I can use that on my desk and fly my Neo around the house to check the condition of the gutters etc. The big sharp screen is great for that.

I like a big screen as well as I tend to fly it out the window from my home/office when I'm bored.

I like having a neckstrap. I did not like the options out there. I found these and got some:

I attached it to my RC-2 and connected my neckstrap as such:

This works just the way I want.

I used a soldering iron to melt small holes through the plastic wing where the thumbscrews hold the protective cover on. Between the cover mount and the thumbscrews the eyelet is quite strongly attached to the controller.
