In my Introduction thread I posted a photo of my rig. There were a number of comments about how I should get a lanyard. I had already been cogitating on that. Serendipitously, while cleaning up a room I happened across an old camera with a neck strap and screw in lug. Eureka! says I. See the imbedded photo. Notice the batteries fit nicely in the film can holders. Yes I slightly modified the controller but. DJI should have included a lug anyway.

Shame and lame on DJI. No lanyard lug. Oh, more sales when you drop your Tx:)? I use to whine about lugs not positioned correctly to have a balanced Tx. Remember they use to sell adapters to reposition the connection point up or down from factory set location. Now instead of poorly positioned lugs I guess it is just no lug provided? They must have heard me complainnnnnng.

Too cold up here from late Autumn to early Spring. Need to store the batteries in a warm pocket. But, good use of the film holders.

The CG is slightly nose heavy. I could not put the lug any farther up than it is. I hold the weight when flying anyway so, the lanyard is just a convenient place to set the controller when changing batteries.
