Since retirement I have been cleaning out junk from the out outbuildings. Today I happened across an old computer bag and realized it would make a good Neo satchel:

There are two non-DJI products shown: The left mesh pocket ( left of the connector cord) is a light which attaches to the bottom of Neo. I really like that thing when the lumens blink down.
The small LL Bean pack in the lower-left corner of the photo are binoculars.

In the outer pocket are spares parts and first-aid supplies.

Old computer bags are nice.

There's a spot for everything.

I carried my SPARK in one for a while.

I got a new neck strap with a magnetic coupler. I moved the old strap to a shoulder strap for the bag:

Over the years like you have accumulated stuff. Including messenger bag/computer bags. One is so large it holds all the analog FPV video hardware and analog quad similar sized to the Neo. Even the Made in West Germany Cullman tripod. My family dreads the day they need to clean out the house. I tend to keep things. Like the bag and tripod that sat for years in the basement.

Assuming no interference issues with the magnetic coupler? Unsure if your gimbals are Hall or pots. From what limited understanding I have about Hall gimbals. They work by sensing a magnetic field.

I was curious about that as well.

I remember watching a tear down video of the old Mavic remote and it had the magnetic field type of joystick control that may be compromised by a magnet. 🤔

.

It appears to fly and maneuver normally. I will move the magnet around with Neo firmly in my grasp. Let us see if anomalies occur.

With Neo firmly held and in takeoff attitude, I passed both sides of the magnetic coupler all around both sticks. There was no effect.

Just took a look a the DJI specs for the RC N3. No listing for the type of gimbals. With the FPV RC3 they specifically note Hall gimbals. Guessing RC N3 uses potentiometer type. The resistor type with the "wiper". No effect from your magnets. All is good!

Is the lanyard hook too fat to fit through the attachment loop you placed on the Tx?
The one niggle I have on the RadioMaster Pocket Tx is the lanyard loop. Plastic molded part of the case and too small a diameter for the couple lanyards owned. Had to attach a "key ring" loop to the molded plastic loop.

Was this what you were asking about? I use the coupler because I can just yank the controller down and it disconnects. Simply and quick. I only need to be careful the controller end of the coupler does not hit the phone screen because it could crack the screen.
