Hello All,

New member here, from Indonesia.
I am in desperation looking for help.

Just got my new Goggles 3 that wanted to be connected to my Neo.
I always get same messages that the connection is failed and was instructed to change the aircraft from Avata 2 into Neo via Menu>Status>Switch
However after click that menu route, I couldn't see options of aircraft that are bound with my new Goggles 3: Avata 2
How can I 'delete" this Avata and make all aircraft options appear so then I can choose: Neo.

PS: I am not able either to update firmware via DJI Assistant 2. My Goggles seems not recognized by DJI Assistant 2/my computer. Help needed too.

Thank you in advance!

Hi, turn on the goggles, the controller and the drone. Keep pushing the on/off button for a few seconds on each device as long, as they start to beep. They will bind to each other automatically.

I don´t know why your PC don´t recognize the goggles. Did you activate it with the dji fly app? Start the dji fly on your smartphone and connect the goggles to the smartphone with OTG cable.

Thank you, Christian!

I follow your advice with slight modification, by making the goggles "the bridge". I connected controller and goggles first followed by controller and drone. It was successful, for 2 seconds, then the same message appear again: "Connection is failed. Change the aircraft via Menu>Switch"

I almost threw away my Goggles 3.

You don't "delete", you just click on that and select Neo from the list. Then you can bind.

If you connected the goggles and the controller, you don´t need to connect the the controller and the drone, you have to connect the goggles and the drone. Unlike the RC N3 controller, the motion 3 and the FPV 3 don´t connect directly to the drone. Goggles + contoller and goggles + drone.

Yes, I aware of that. It is not hard-delete, just untick the Avata.
The problem is, I can't see the list of the options of aircraft. Somehow that list are not populated.
I have no idea, how exactly you want to delete those options... You should be a world class software engieer...

I'm assuming from your post no Neo listed in the choice of drones to switch to? Something might be amiss with your Goggle3. Also, assuming all your hardware has been activated and shows so on your DJI Account.

Menu>Status> page then notes what drone is connected with a box to click to switch>page lists a number of platforms>Neo.
I only fly and have activated the Avata2 and Neo. But other drones are also listed. Also, have a 2nd Neo. But cannot connect it without first going through the Linking process. Then Neo is unlinked requiring it to be relinked if wanting it to fly it. Unsure if an issue or normal. No big deal to relink between the 2 NEOs.
