Neo goes into hover then stop and lands

Got my neo just before christmas eventualy got the software setup on my samsung s10. Did a lot of test flights ok.
Just set up a samsung galaxy AO4s and in manual mode the neo lifts off and goes into hover for a few seconds then flashes stop and proceeds to land. I shut down phone and drone restarted and the same problm still exists.
I have now tried to fly using my S10 and the same problem now happens on the S10. Anybody help.

Are you trying to fly the NEO in a low light environment like in a building with little light? Although I haven't experienced this myself, I have read reports of the NEO wanting to land when the flying environment doesn't have enough light for the VPS system.

I thought that you had cracked with the low light.
Just tried again, more light clear skies the problem is still the same inside or out. I even tried follow mode still the same problem.

I assume you are just using a phone to fly the NEO so you can’t tell when you are outside whether it is acquiring enough satellites for stable flight. The only other thing I can think of is that the VPS sensors are not working properly or are blocked.

Maybe someone else with more knowledge will chime in.

Try flying without a phone. If you encounter the same problem, I would contact DJI
