I just came over from Mavic Pilots. Hi everyone! I have a DJI RC controller for my Air 2s, and a DJI RC-2 controller for my Mini 4 pro which I will also use with the Neo. I don't have a phone that will run current DJI FLY app. I just ordered a new Neo combo est. delivery 12/10 ( just Neo and batts. no controller)& DJI RC motion controller 3. I also already have the Goggles 3 I'm using with the mini 4 pro. I've read and seen videos on how to link everything, but they are using a phone with the current fly app. Since I don't have a phone that will run the fly app, can I use the RC-2 controller and the current fly app within the controller to link everything together ?

Your RC2 is listed as a compatible controller. Just guessing. Probably should be able to use the RC2 fly app. Might depend if you have the latest updated fly app . First thing I would do. Then give it a try. You would think it should, but the 04 system is little different even though the RC-2 uses 04. Everything goes through the Goggles3 and now N3. The goggles is your transmitter. Relays all your controller inputs to the Neo and Avata2. To use the MC3 you will need to use your Goggles3.
Even using the smartphone DJI FLY app I needed to update it to the latest version along with all the latest updates for the Goggles3 and Neo to bind everything.

Thanks NeoNeo I hope I can use the controller. I don't even remember the last time I used a phone to fly. Been lovin' the controllers with built in screens and now the goggles! And yes the first thing to do is update everything, firmware and fly app. before binding. Thanks so much for all your help
