The neo 2 is so much better than the neo and I’m so glad I purchased it as well. I did need another drone, 
. Like so many others here having just a few wasn’t enough for me. Each one has just a bit more to offer and I do like that. I did buy three neo's and 2 headsets for flying with relatives thinking they would get into flying, but they like playing games on computers instead.

I did buy three neo's and 2 headsets for flying with relatives thinking they would get into flying, but they like playing games on computers instead.If you are used to the Mavic 2 Pro (or perhaps Mavic Air 2?) the Neo 2 will be dramatically different in terms of flight characteristics. It is a fun little drone but it can't withstand much wind at all and it is simply not a good platform for cinematic shots in my experience. Also, you can't shoot RAW photos or video. It really depends on your use case. Selfie drone that is easy to transport? Neo 2 is fantastic. Serious camera drone for a wide range of situations? The big bird is going to win. I fly with three drones in my carry-on usually. Which three depends on the job, but more and more I'm including the Neo 2, mostly just for fun. I did use it on a real job yesterday for the first time. It was easier to fly over people than putting on prop guards for one of the other drones, and it was only for one shot, so I was lazy. It is annoying that DJI enables RID in other countries, but no in the US. I had to attach an RID module. I don't notice a difference in handling.
One other thing: you can fly the Neo 2 as an FPV drone, which may not interest most folks, but if you ever get the desire, it's a reasonable platform on which to learn.

Not meaning to be personally critical... Every time I read points like this it just strikes me as a bit unnecessary and silly. Kind of like replying to a review for a new e-bike with, "...but it's not good for traveling hundreds of miles, picking up 5 bags of concrete from the hardware store, or traveling in really bad rainstorms. In that case a car wins every time".
