First Flight

I had a couple of minutes of fun and anxiety with my NEO maiden flight. I love the simplicity and use of the drone. Right now, I am just using a mobile phone. I have an additional controller ordered.

The anxiety set in when I saw how my Jack Russel responded to it. She is very used to drones and goes with me on photo shoots frequently, but she wanted to eat the NEO up! She can jump quite high and at one point I though she was going to snatch it out of the air LOL

You know it LOL. I've seen her chew up many things. She could have it destroyed in less than 5 min

My Jack Russell literately hates the NEO. I couldn't find the cached sound file so downloaded one. The barking doesn't match the video, but you just to give you an idea. Later, I had the NEO following my great-granddaughter and because she's so short, my dog snatched the NEO out of the air.

My wife's Maltipoo hates all of the Avatas and Neo. The lower pitch of the Mavic classic does not bother him at all.

I say this from experience. Friend of ours has a large Chocolate Lab that would lose her mind when she saw my drones flying. No doubt in my mind she would attack and try to eat it.

There isn't a doubt in my mind that my Jack Russel would destroy my NEO. I even have to be careful when I bring it in to download the video to my PC. She tries to snatch it from my desk. So, it's not just the sound it makes, it's the way it looks to her as well. I'm not sure if she looks at it as a bird (no pun intended) or a squirrel. but she sees it differently than my other drones.
