I bought another one for the back up Neo. This time the sunnylife version. I think this holds much less tight, than the 1st, no name one. 😒

I use these two things and they stay on even in a somewhat harsh landing (crash).
🫡

Cheers,

The UV filter is the only thing I put on my drones, nothing else (e.g. duct and gimbal guards). The other one I have, holds pretty solid, this one not really.

To me it looks like a bright blinking Xmas tree. The nav lights come together in the distance l can tell which way its going but left / right by color is useless. The landing light and strobe would be plenty.
It meets the requirements of the regs.
If I wasn't a drone flyer and saw it flying around my house at night I'd probably want to shoot it down.

I only fly at twilight anyway.

My last accessory will be the FPV controller. Maybe next week before they dissappear possibly for good.
New anyway. They are getting expensive and scarce here already.

Lite winds tomorrow please.🙏

The FPV controller is essential, but pretty much a joke. Like a cheap gamepad. Bought a silicone sleeve to it, at least that has a nice material to touch.

same price:

If you lived closer I'd let you help me with the installation of the part needed in the Neo. Or even pay you to do it.
It looks like a big PITA right down to the programming of the application.
It looks cool and less expensive but the risk seems to much without available parts or service if something should go wrong.

I'm not a great DIYer. I see and know every slight imperfection I cause and it always bugs me to no end. Others find my work acceptable. I just do my best and try to get past it if I can.

I want to spend the time enjoying the product not forever wishing I had done it better.
I'll try almost anything if I think I have the proper tools and knowledge to complete it with enough self satisfaction.
Being able to afford redoing or getting it done to my satisfaction does play a part in it. Perfection isn't always a requirement.
I just think it is. At least for my own work for myself.

Expect Perfection but be willing to accept a little less.
Upbringing!
Thanks mom & dad.😇

Ordered the fpv controller, lanyard and telescopic sticks.
My wife wouldn't let me near her purses to find another lanyard.🤣
Supposed to be here today.

So, that's it. Nothing more needed.
Done buying drone stuff.
Yeah. Right! 🤥
Well. Except a Mini 4 pro or Skyrover X1, and accessories of course. LOL.
So, almost done.
Still.
Again.🤑

Cheers,

To add to my accessories I already have from way back in post #12, I recently added a bike phone holder. It comes in especially handy for Direction Track from the front where I need to be able to keep tabs on the battery and if I need to, quickly stop the tracking. I use it in conjunction with my controller holder which is used for Active Track that is pictured in post #12.

Cool, I have one on my Harley that looks similar.
I feel good about my fpv controller purchase. I still payed less than full retail. Good these days I guess.
We must have our toys!

I have enough toys to last the duration but a few more can't hurt.
🤣

I have considered the FPV accessories but haven’t taken the plunge yet. I’m enjoying the tracking features to document life.

Nice, I haven't even messed with tracking aspects yet.
FPV is a fun challenge.
The controller is basically for only one thing. Manual mode.
It would've been more expensive to get a dedicated fpv drone rather than expand the Neo.
No huge difference til manual mode is mastered then speed and more control becomes the issue.
By the way I fly it will last a long time.
But I still want the bigger better drone for video and wind not to mention the obstacle avoidance.

All in good time grasshopper. 🤣

Hama Rexton 170 camera bag. Not that huge like my Lowepro backpack, but the avata + neo + all neccesary stuffs fit inside. Love it.

And a Xiaomi screwdriver. Replacing propellers makes very fast. I just love this thing. Very good quality

I like the driver but its a little expensive.
I do need a good manual version.
There's one in my Amazon wish list. Been there awhile now.
Since last prop change.😂

I bought it for 28 € with free shipping on Aliexpress from a Xiaomi retailer. It has a non electric version, around 18-20 €.
