My Neo combo shipped from Amazon, and is arriving today!!!

I generally do not care for most accessories – landing gear, camera guards, etc. – but after seeing that destruction video, I'm strongly considering adding this bumper guard to my new toy:

If you fly like a normal person, you won't need it.

I saw that bumper guard too! Don't forget to add the Flight Tail to complete the package! :D

I'm planning on designing and printing a big rear wing to maintain good traction while flying 🤣

The first mod I'll do to the Neo is the prop upgrade. Supposedly DJI is working on upgraded props that run quieter.

That's the point, if you fly FPV like a normal person what you're gonna hit isn't perfectly flat like what's needed for this to prevent the camera being touched...
I just put some fancy bumper guards on my new DJI FPV!!....... After looking at it for a second, I figured out same thing lol. Oh well.. they look cool I guess and maybe I will Crash just right .

Here are the accessories that I have bought for my NEO so far. They all work great.

Thinking of adding another battery to make 4 and possibly an ND filter if they make ND512 or ND1000 to slow the shutter so water can be blurred. On the NEO this may not be practical.

I use a front gimbal bumper, side guard (both 3d printed), landing gear, and a cpl filter. The 3d printed guards couldn't survive a 3ft drop😅 . I barely use the landing gear because it adds a lot of strain on the motors.

Purchased a similar designed filter set (UV and CPL) after discovering the magnetic ones don't stay attached in a hard "landing". Purchased just to hopefully protect the lens from my hard "landings".

There´s a reason why I bought this clip on UV filter for the Neo. Sunnylife clip on has my Avata. Both survived minor crashes so far...

I use a similar designed clip on UV or CPL filter on the Avata2 sold by the same company that makes the clip on for the Neo. Like the Neo clip on it stays on after a hard "landing".

The magnetic models should be functional for those who just fly to capture image in Cine, N, or S modes. Lower opportunities to crash. Ease in rapid switching of filters for specific imaging needs. I've looped the Neo basically into the ground, hard yaw washout at too low an altitude resulting in a crash, and just hit things resulting in crashing. Neo clip on filter has stayed on. Flying inside my house. The magnetic filters always fell off on impact with the floor or obstruction hit.
