So, I set the home and took off. I was having a good time with the new remote and all of a sudden boom right into the bushes from the middle of the yard. It just took off from hovering. Then I picked it up and dusted it off and checked for damage, there was none other then some green from the bushes. Took off again and flew through two batteries and then again hovering to get ready to land and woooooooosh there it went again. Any advice or thoughts? Yall have helped in from the start, so I come back for more knowledge. Thank you ahead of time for the help.

What controller, what mode were you flying?
Did the Red Box warning of high impact detected pop up?
Did you go into the Menu and check the status sub menu?
Did you hover in a real dark shaded area?

I am new to this, so I didn't look. I checked out the footage and the answer were right there. I lost all connection to satellites, and it somehow went to return home and that had changed to the bushes obviously. I also updated the app, that's what tech support said to do. Man, once again you guys are great, thanks again for the knowledge.

You are not the first and will not be the last to RTH into an obstruction. Friend's Mini4 Pro auto engaged RTH right up into a tree branch. Apparently the sensors don't project directly upwards or don't detect smaller branches. LIDAR needed. Couple mile walk of shame and couple broken propellers.
