As I aged over the years I always felt (believed) flying kept me young and mentioned that to others that asked why I flew Radio Control so much (started in my early 20’s). I seen a study today that discussed the ability to recognize and make choices quickly and accurately as the key to retaining brain function long term. Now with flying drones for fun (6 yrs now) and the added ability to read flight information in real time on a display while flying VLOS really keeps the brain busy. I suppose this would apply even more to those flying manual FPV where your reaction speed has to be so fast as well as being accurate.
