When flying the Neo like a "regular" DJI drone using the RC2 (or the RC-N2 with a phone) the live image is processed with the DJI HorizonSteady algorithm to remove the tilting on the roll axis. It results in some really annoying control weirdness, where turning on the yaw axis is mushy and imprecise.

I looked for the traditional DJI Fly setting to put the camera in FPV mode, removing roll stabilization. This is typically implemented on 3-axis gimbal stabilized camera drones, but I was hoping the setting was there for the Neo too, even though the roll stabilization is done in software with image processing. Can't find it.

Anyone know how to turn this off on the Neo if possible? I don't mind the tilting roll axis flying the Neo in Normal and Sport modes on the RC2, if I could get it.

Not possible. The eis is always on. Only if you use phone only in 4:3. That's why wanted to sell it last year. The spark and the mini 1 had "FPV" setting in the fly app, but it's not in the case with the neo. Many complained because of this on the DJI official Forum incl me...
