I've been flying drones as a hobbyist for a little over 2-years now. I own 2 DJI drones, the Mini 2, and an Air2s.
I mostly capture shots while traveling, and share them with friends and family. I mostly enjoy the way that flying drones gives me an opportunity to get photos and images from unique perspectives, and allow me to keep working on my editing skills. I post my videos on YouTube for sharing. One is included below.
Professionally, I'm a professor of broadcast journalism that has talked to my institution about adding drone videography to our offerings, but have not gotten much traction on that.
I saw and ordered a Neo mostly because it offers the option to create more dynamic drone videos (FPV-ish), without needing goggles. I won't get mine for another month, so I'll keep an eye on discussions from other owners to see if it'll be worth it.
