Here is my first attempt at a 360º panorama shot on the NEO. I shot 104 images on Auto and stitched the images using PanoVolo and PTGui Pro. PanoVolo had trouble and I got stitching errors. PTGui Pro stitched the images without any problems.

Both projections below are from PTGui Pro and have not been edited. These are the results straight out of PTGui.

Here's the Kuula link if you want to view the VR version of the pano. Since I only have a free account you cannot use the link to access the VR pano using box goggles.

There's got to be a 360 viewer someplace. Could even load it up on a Quest 3 or another VR headset.

I’ll post it to Kuula tomorrow and post the link here.

Here's another one from today.

Snowshoed into the forest while the NEO followed me, then stopped along the way to do a 360 pano. I wanted to see what would happen if the sky was partly obscured by the forest canopy. You can see where the limits of the NEO gimbal are reached at 60º where the black hole is at the top on the Kuula VR. Normally if it was just sky you could fill it in and it would not be noticeable, but with branches overhead, filling in the gap is more difficult. I may try and see what I can do later in photoshop but for now you can see what can be done with the NEO. The NEO was 2.3m high just above my head. The ultra wide angle lens (14mm equivalent) really makes this kind of pano possible but because some of the trees and branches were so close to the NEO there were some stitching errors.

I think you can post 360 pants to YT and it'll do the right thing, even though it's not video.
Tried but YT will only accept video formats and the panos are image formats (JPEGs).

These are stellar! Very well done!!!

You can post them to google photos and see them in 360, but you might have to dink around with the metadata first to make sure google recognizes it as a 360 pano. There are a number of ways to do that manually but this program (online or downloaded) usually takes care of it.

Thank you!

I have made one of the panos I posted above into a video file but have to fix the EXIF data. I will try EXIF Fixer but I first have to reduce the size of the video that I made from the image in Photoshop. I'll work on it later this evening and see what I can do. I had another program to try Spatial Media Meta Data Injector' but it requires Python and is an old program so am going to try EXIF Fixer instead.

Thanks for the link.

Yeah I think I tried Spatial Meta Data Injector and had the same experience you did, not really usable

@spacewizard, tried Exif Fixer, both the app and the online version, but didn’t have any luck. The app for some reason changes the language of all the folders on my computer when in the app and the online version limits the file size to 15MB which is difficult to do when the video file created in photoshop was well over 100MB.

Thanks for the link to the program regardless.
