Import tariffs and effect on DJI msrp?

The tariffs are making people make knee jerk reactions to go out and spend now. I think people are better off just holding onto your money and ride it out than buy products that are a "want" vs. "need".

    March in the Midwest

Haven’t flown too much this past winter and early spring because every day feels windy it seems like.

    Part 107 Training Services

I actually didn’t pay for any courses. Between YouTube videos and practice exams on the web, three weeks of hardcore studying got me a 95 on the exam. Mr Mig’s Classroom channel on YouTube was particularly helpful.

    New to Drones

Welcome! I would get DJI Care Refresh if you haven’t already and still can. Good piece of insurance for first time flyers and since the Neo has no obstacle avoidance, you may eventually hit something and crash.

    Need to format AGAIN

I would avoid deleting files on the Neo's internal storage which can cause problems. After a session, I take the files I need off the Neo then format the internal drive using the DJI Fly app.

Would you pay $5 more for...

I agree, the Neo is a ton of fun. I think people get caught up so much in specs that they forget at the end of the day it should be about having fun. Best specs ≠ fun

    New firmware DJI Fly 1.16

    Glitchy glitch glitch!

Although it hasn’t happened to me, I have heard of Neos behaving erratically in low light. For any low light flying, I think the Flip is a better option as it has a better sense of where it is until DJI dials in the firmware on the Neo. The Neo is a nice budget friend option, but it’s easy to...

    Glitchy glitch glitch!

It is a low light situation, so that isn’t helping the Neo.

What the FLIP? (off topic news from DJI )

What the FLIP? (off topic news from DJI )

The one thing that the Flip lacks that the Mini series has, is the full obstacle avoidance. The Flip only appears to have avoidance from the front, but perhaps the official launch will clarify that. The Flip fits in similar to the Air. The Flip is a more featured Neo, but it’s not quite a Mini...
