Are you using your Neo regularly?

Haven’t flown much lately, mainly due to the uncertainty of DJI in the United States and availability of parts/service in the event it’s needed. Had my Neo out following a hail storm on Juneteenth to inspect my roof. Roof ended up being damaged and in the process of working with insurance to get...

    Neo 2?

This is surprising too and seems “un-DJI” like.

Confused over night flight and lights required.

Just as a FYI, The FAA requires anti-collision lighting to be seen from 3 statute miles.

    Neo 2?

I would like to see the Neo 2 have an active built-in RID module to qualify for Part 107 Cat 1 operations over people in the U.S., right out of the box.. Outside of that, I’m not sure there will be enough to get me to upgrade. The Neo’s camera is “good enough” and I have a Flip for higher...

Confused over night flight and lights required.

With the 1/2" sensor, you're not going to get great low light performance out of the Neo. It isn't worth spending money on anti-collision lighting, IMO. In this use case, the Neo is the wrong tool for the job.

    Faulty camera ?

    Looks like a sensor defect.

    Wearable microphone

Good choice on the Mic Mini. The Mic 2 also works pretty well for anyone else looking for mic options.

Import tariffs and effect on DJI msrp?

The tariffs are making people make knee jerk reactions to go out and spend now. I think people are better off just holding onto your money and ride it out than buy products that are a "want" vs. "need".

    March in the Midwest

Haven’t flown too much this past winter and early spring because every day feels windy it seems like.

    Part 107 Training Services

I actually didn’t pay for any courses. Between YouTube videos and practice exams on the web, three weeks of hardcore studying got me a 95 on the exam. Mr Mig’s Classroom channel on YouTube was particularly helpful.

    New to Drones

Welcome! I would get DJI Care Refresh if you haven’t already and still can. Good piece of insurance for first time flyers and since the Neo has no obstacle avoidance, you may eventually hit something and crash.
