All our snow had melted a few days ago, it was warm today. All the trees look like that right now. Warm and windy tomorrow. I liked the scenery, it's easy to imagine what that will look like when the trees bloom.
Hello AlanGH27
Welcome to the forum from the midwest. There are many people who can answer any questions you have. This is a great forum to learn from. Good to meet you. Have fun.
We've gotten snow in the last few days, not to bad compared to the last one. Sixteen inches last time and we have maybe four or five inches in the lastest round, but it was and is the windchill that's so bad. Three days ago windchill was -30 degrees F.
It is amazing how the neo follows like that, really cool feature and footage! I could have use a fair of those shoes two weeks ago, we got 16 inches of snow officially.
That's cool to hear, I've always been one to take pictures over videos, but I do now have a Neo as well as a Avata 2 and that may very well change things.
I made one about 35 years ago for flying rc gliders and later added a handmade sheepskin backing for winter conditions, very similar in concept. I also had a plastic window to see thru for the transmitter. I designed it to hold a video recorder as well so I could film while flying on the slopes...
Thank you for the tip Chris, who would have thought that it be a problem because as you said the magnets seemed weak. Back when I had a ID card for work I found out by the hard way by putting it under my Iphone cover so not to misplace it and it affected my reception as many of us found out...
I'm glad you mention the ND filter as offering protection for the lens. I have a new set that needs to be opened. Prop took a bad hit for sure. It's nice they provide a back up set with the kit.
