I can hear a slight pitch difference, but not convinced it is an improvement. Both are quite irritating! I have seen some reviews where the noise quality improves a lot if you take the prop guards off. I'm a bit reluctant to do this though, so will put up with the whine.

I hope they do produce some affordable goggles, given they cost more than the neo does. I quite like the idea of an FPV flight, but the prices of goggles are prohibitive. In anycase, I need to get used to flying manually with the control first.

Ordered mine on Amazon as I had some vouchers to use. Arrived within 12 hours! Note that you can't order the DJI Care Refresh via Amazon, but you can still do this through the DJI website when you first register the drone (as long as it is done within the first 48 hours).

Thanks. I'm really amazed with what it can do. I got up to about 25 metres altitude on the second run and could hardly see it, so had to come down pretty quickly. I might see how it fairs with a small strobe on the underside. I've got one that weighs 4grams, so will post back.
