I am also passing on the Flip. Nothing new here since I have a Neo Mini 3 and 4 Pro and both Avatas. I was hoping it would have FPV access but for now it’s just a low grade camera drone with limited obstacle avoidance. Why should I buy one?

You have to remember what it is. A $199 entry level FPV capable flying camera with more than average bells and whistles. Mini 3 or 4 Pro with goggles may be more what you’re looking for.

Back a while the FPV controller from DJI was $199 new but they were out of stock. Some “opportunist's” on eBay were listing them for between $279 and $359. I waited until they were back in stock.

I have been flying with about 30% goggles battery with this issue on the goggles 3. After giving it a full charge, the issue is not nearly as bad even though I am only75 feet away in the back yard with the house in the way, I still get breakup but not a complete loss of signal. I do have 2...

Motion controller drone and goggles were all powered on. I have gone back and double checked last night and app says all are up to date. I am going to try it again today after work.

Yes I updated Saturday but didn’t fly until Sunday. Being cloudy would not be the cause would it? It’s not like I was flying in them.

After the update I took the NEO out with the MC2 and FPV controller with the Goggles 3 and it was terrible. I DON'T KNOW WHAT HAS HAPPENED!!!! I was loosing video signal less than 100 feet away behind my house. I usually go the same route in front of my house---open field---and I lost connection...

I must confess that I hated the MC when it came out and I was forced to use it with my Avata and Mavic Classic. I am eating bitter words when I say I have grown to love the head tracking and flying with the MC 1 and 2 with all 4 of my drones. Enough humble pie for today.

My wife's Maltipoo hates all of the Avatas and Neo. The lower pitch of the Mavic classic does not bother him at all.

Took it back out for a quick 8 minute flight---all 3 modes flying FPV and it flew like a dream. No issues at all. Just don't bump into anything in manual mode. Not as quick as the Avata 2 but I didn't expect it to be. Lots of fun and beats the heck out of the Cetus X I had. Very easy to fly in...
