Not a fan of these 'let's try and break stuff' videos, but this is pretty impressive as far as resilience of the Neo goes

Pretty tough little guy.

That’s pretty impressive in terms of durability.

Destructive testing serves a very real need and purpose. While most don't intentionally subject their drones to this type of abuse, the video does show just how durable this little drone is! As one who likes to explore dilapidated buildings, the Neo looks like it will be perfect, both in size and for enduring the possible "whoops" factor.

I too like to explore, document and photograph abandoned buildings. One of the reasons I am considering a Neo purchase is for this very reason. The only big concern is its low light performance otherwise it would be perfect.

The fact that it is small and durable would make it suitable for this and if it was lost in an inaccessible structure, you wouldn’t be out a huge amount of money.

Oh agreed, and the low cost made even easier than the very cheap DJI Refresh on these

Yah, that’s true. I never really thought about refresh for it since it is not an expensive drone, but having refresh would be practical in this case.

I like seeing this. I was hoping the first tree you hit wouldnt cost you the Drone. I fully expect to end up killing at least one of theses lol.

After seeing that video, "how" is a very legitimate question 🤣

On a serious note, it was a light bulb moment to see and then realize that, of course it doesn't hit straight on, but pitched forward, which puts some of the energy into wild spinning and flipping, reducing the energy that goes directly into Impulse stresses on the nose on impact.

This it true. Certainly resilient little thing. One thing he has killed one with before of course is water - that's the end! But immovable objects - impressed.

I may play the part of a Drone pilot BUT I find myself bouncing off stuff Quite a bit lol. Those monkey bars and slides tend to leave a few scrapes in my Drones.
