RC or smartphone?

I tried using the smartphone, but I didn't like it, I went back to using RC because I feel safer.

When I flew my SPARK, I used the remote for the same reason.

I didn't trust the Wi-Fi connection of just the phone.

Flying any drone just with smartphone is for kids. I never tried on my spark, on my tello or on the neo. I use it on the tello, if the rc disconets. Only for emergency situations.

You should use what gives you the most confidence. But, don't get over confident, that's when crashes occur.

I prefer using the RC because it has a more solid connection and allows me to adjust settings the phone doesn’t.

If DJI adds features similar to RC control then I could see myself using the phone more often.

Definitely RC for me, just more control.

RC all the way for me, from what I have seen using the phone can be flakey and no RTH.
