I really have to stop buying drones! This is my third one. But this looks like a lot of fun, and something I can practice manual controls on with less risk of damaging things. Also less drama to fly indoors, and safer around people.

Does anyone know the steps, and how hard it is to switch between the Avata-2 and the NEO with the goggles/MC?

You'll love it.

Welcome aboard...like you I've also got 3 dji's...latest is the neo, however the bad news is this affliction we suffer from seems to not have a cure...and I'm ok with that

I love the NEO! It is such a versatile drone and with the recent firmware/software updates it has become even better. Haven't jumped into the FPV world yet but with your recent helpful comments in my other thread, it likely won't be long.

Although the photo/video quality is not as good as my other drones, I can fly it in places I would never attempt with my other drones. It is also fun to fly.

Congrats on ordering one.

I did receive my NEO last night. Too dark and windy to fly outside, so I had a lot of fun flying it around the house. I crashed a couple times--stairwells are hard. I may have gotten it up to 18mph. Not sure. I have to check the footage off the goggles. LOL. But it seems like a solid little drone that's a ton of fun. I had good signal even flying from my bedroom upstairs, down the stairs and into the living room and kitchen. This was true with my cell phone as well. I didn't manage to get the phone controls to work in horizontal orientation. Probably just didn't find the right button. I remembered to put something heavy on the napkins this time.

This drone IS very small. I knew that when I bought it, but it's really something to see it in person. I can't believe some guy on you tube flew it two kilometers away and back. The battery is so small, you wouldn't imagine it has that much capacity. Feels very much like a small Avata-2.

I'm up to four, not counting the two toys drones I have.
MA2, m3p, Air 3S, neo
And a bunch of rc airplanes, and a corona helicopter.
