Hi all, when using the DJI RC Motion 3 is there a way to move the camera, on the Neo, up and down besides pointing the Motion 3 downward which will also make the Neo drop altitude?

I understand the Dial button on the Motion 3 is used to tilt the camera before takeoff or during RTH and landing. However I like how the N2 Remote Controller has the Gimbal Dial to Control the tilt of the gimbal and looking for a way to tilt the camera, while moving forward, without loosing altitude or stopping the drone when using the Motion 3.

Any help would be appreciated!

Thank you

I have the motion, but never use it, just reserve. As I remember, when hovering, tilting the motion moves the gimball up and down, during flying the wheel moves the gimball, exactly the opposit, what you wrote, that´s why don´t lose altitude. Another option is the head tracking.

Hi Christian, you said "during flying the wheel moves the gimball". Thats where Im having a problem. I move the wheel, and I take it you mean the Dial Button, during flying but the gimbal and camera dont move.

You also said " the wheel moves the gimball, exactly the opposit, what you wrote, that´s why don´t lose altitude". Sorry if I wrote it in a way that led you to beleive this. I do think Im doing what you are saying to do but my gamble doesn't move using the Dial and scrolling it. Probably something Im misunderstanding. 🤔

Probably I made a mistake, because I used the motion only for a few times, until the fpv c3 arrived. And I almost never change gimbal position, it´s always forward.

Edit: I just checked the manual and you´re right. But I don´t know why losing altitude. I don´t know why I remembered like this... Whatever.

The point of the MC is to do easy FPV, to do so it makes it so that while moving it always looks forward in the direction of travel, so you're not looking down unless you go down.
Enabling head tracking is the only way to look somewhere else while moving.

Never looked at it like that, Kilrah. I can understand that. Never tried head tracking so we'll give that a try.

Thank you
