Today I had massive trouble getting my RC-N3 controller and Samsung phone to connect. Some of you may remember my post about a custom USB cable I use between the controller and phone. I naturally assumed it must be my cable. I have the DJI original cable with me so I connected it. Still the connection could not be made.
In troubleshooting, I powered off the phone. My Bluetooth microphone was complaining so I shut it off. Powered the phone and RC-N3 on and the connection worked fine. Put my custom cable back in, connection continued working. Turned the Bluetooth mic back on and went flying.
Swapped out the Neo battery after the flight and the RC-N3 to phone connection stopped working. Hmmm, says I. I turned off the Bluetooth microphone and everything starts working again.
It appears I can use the Bluetooth mic but, it must be off when any connection between the Neo, phone and/or controller needs to be established.
