    Wow neo 2 awesome

Respectfully, the power provided by the motors/esc/battery does not change with mode. I fly the Neo2 in Manual more than N or S and it is problematic in anything above about 7KPH regardless.

    Wow neo 2 awesome

I also have used the Neo2 as Cat1 for a couple of jobs. It worked well. Too bad DJI won't enable the built-in RID like they do in other countries, but the module isn't much of a problem. One thing I will mention: you guys saying this thing does well in 20MPH gusts are using a different drone...

When the Beach Is Quiet, the Shots Are Loud

The video is nicely done and the drone shots are quite good, but I can't help but wonder if flying over crowds at a beach is worth it for the fallout. Here in the US people are often really hostile to drones, especially in public areas where people are in beachwear. The Neo2 isn't as obnoxious...

    Hi from Edmonton

Welcome! I think flying an RC plane at an airfield is just about as far away from goggles and a motion controller as you could get. That's a hell of a transition, so I wouldn't be too hard on yourself. I've used the motion controller enough to understand it and to instruct others, but I vastly...

How to set gimbal mode to fpv

Wow, somebody remembered my post from 10 weeks ago! Impressive. What I ultimately did was force myself to learn to fly in Manual mode, first with the Neo, then the Neo 2, and now the Avata 2. I spent probably 10 hours using Liftoff and Liftoff Micro simulators with the DJI FPV 3 Controller. I'm...

Should i get the neo 2?

I have no idea what the OP's use case is, other than his declaration that "I NEED THE 360 APAS(obstacle avoidance)" which only makes sense for selfie footage, right? Beyond that, I think everything I said was objectively true. And the OP said nothing of ruggedness or fun-to-fly as decision...

    Neo 2 antennas

Everything I'm reading says the module is required for use with a controller or goggles. Is that untrue?

    Hi, from Wilmington, NC

If you are used to the Mavic 2 Pro (or perhaps Mavic Air 2?) the Neo 2 will be dramatically different in terms of flight characteristics. It is a fun little drone but it can't withstand much wind at all and it is simply not a good platform for cinematic shots in my experience. Also, you can't...

    Neo 2 antennas

I put this one on mine after reading of several breakages...and seeing the cost of the replacement module! I've flown mine a fair amount in acro so I think it's a small price to pay for potentially saving $50. One surprise benefit: I was flying at an event yesterday and I was using an RID module...

Should i get the neo 2?

I presume you have received it, yes? My only comment would be that for those using these drones for object tracking, I guess the APAS is useful, but I almost never use it on any drone because it disrupts footage by getting "startled" by nearby objects. Also I have found that the Neo and Neo2 are...

    Overly Sensitive Sticks

I would contact DJI support. I know they are challenged where I live in the US, but if they confirm it is in fact a problem with the drone, they will offer to repair it under warranty. I did this with a brand new Air3S not long ago. Unfortunately it took 10 weeks to get the replacement. So, if...

Neo could simulate manual mode (banking) footage in Sport mode due to gimbal tilt, but I can't find how to do it with Neo 2. What am I missing?

Thanks. I wish that were true but it isn't. I tried Rocksteady on and off and while it does change the video slightly, it does not introduce banking while turning, which is all that "FPV Mode" does on the hover drones. I think my only real option is an Avata 2.

Neo could simulate manual mode (banking) footage in Sport mode due to gimbal tilt, but I can't find how to do it with Neo 2. What am I missing?

I have a very specific question. I love flying the Neo in FPV Sport mode with Goggles N3 and FPV RC 3. The single-axis gimbal gives me wonderful banking footage through turns without the need to try and fly in Manual mode. I now have a Neo 2 and unfortunately I can't find a way to fly in the...

    Wearable microphone

I bought the DJI Mic Mini and have had very good success using it with the Neo. You can get one for $59. How much was the DeWalt?
